Out With The Old, In With The New (Luke 5:27-32)

Ever heard folks talk about "The Good Old Days"?!  They're not always what they're cracked up to be!  Who wants to go back to rotary phones, dial up Internet, childhood diseases like polio?!  Just ask Levi/Matthew about "The Good Old Days"!  When Jesus called him, out with old & in with new, He saved a lost soul, formed a new creation and added a new disciple - the New far surpassed the "Good Old Days"!  Yet we see the Pharisees lamenting the Good Old Days ("we didn't associate with sinners") which caused them to among other things miss the Messiah!!  If we're not careful, as modern day Pharisees, we too can lament the Good Old Days, refusing the company of sinners and failing to bring them what they need most - JESUS!  Grab a Bible, a notebook and a pen and listen in as Pastor Buffy Cook explains that as Jesus ushers in a New Age, "Out With The Old, In With The New," He brings New Men with Him!
