The Power of Hope - Easter 2016

What is it that draws folks to Easter?!  More Americans Google search for church around Easter than at any other time; Gallup polls show over a 20 percentage point increase in church attendance at Easter than a typical week.  Is it not THE POWER OF HOPE?!  Hope of newness of life (Spring); Hope of eternal life (Jesus' Resurrection).  Peter, the apostle of hope, understood this well and in his 1st Epistle wrote to beleaguered Christians offering them a good shot of hope that they might live victoriously amidst hardship & hostility.  One thing I can guarantee you from Easter 2016 - Easter 2017, you WILL yourself face hardship as well (physical and/or spiritual).  In this message I unpack 1 Peter 1:3-5 that we may manifest the LIVING HOPE that Peter writes about in our lives today, tomorrow & the day after that we too may live victoriously in light of Jesus' Resurrection!!!
